Tuna Fishing Boats Oregon Inlet
Marshall Jenkins from Culpepper Va brought some friends to the Outer Banks for some deep sea fishing out of Oregon Inlet. The weather was tough on everyone on Friday and Sat morning; however, it calmed down a bit by mid morning and we got some bites from tuna and dolphin. The water conditions were ok, with 69 to 72 degree water getting the most bites. The yellowfin and blackfin hit in pairs and we never got covered up, we did lose a nice mako right outa the gate to a flat line bite and picked up four dolphin too. This year looks a lot more promising than last, since the gulfstream is close to the edge and blue water is loaded with flyers. The bigger fish will be after them soon as the southerly trades push them up the coast. The crew ended up with 7 tuna and 4 dolphin, Thanks guys.
